I need a messenger bag to simply carry some work stuff and a change of clothes for when I go to my girl's house straight from the job (I don't drive). This bag is perfect for the task on hand. The one thing that really makes it a great value is the fact that it uses clips to close instead of velcro. My last bag used velcro and it was much more difficult to over pack than this bag is. There's only one thing missing: A shoulder pad. The strap is wide enough to not put too much pressure on my shoulders, but a pad would have made this a 5 star rating, without a doubt.

Bought this bag to replace another bag of similar dimensions. I use it as a walking bag, laptop bag, and shoe bag when I go dancing. Big enough for my size 9.5 shoes, and 14 inch laptop, plus the plethera of pockets on this thing is amazing! I really appreciate the double snaps to hold the lid closed.
Downside - not really water proof.

This was the first reasonably priced, guy-type messenger bag I located for my grandson. (The granddaughters had them and he wanted one also.) It's extremely sturdy-a necessity- and has lots of room for his "stuff".

i am happy with this purchase, because it is sturdy & lightweight, and i am glad it was available in red! very safe for travel, and keeps hands free to shop. most purchasers would be happy with the numerous pockets.. but i misplace things with the multiple pocket options, then go nuts looking for items that weren't where i thought they were! plus, the central pocket has openings at either end of the zipper, so not as secure as I would like.
rescind the "sturdy" comment, as the inside zipper broke, after only a few months' use. I have used this bag in a rotation with many other bags/purses, so it did not hold up to occasional wear. manufacturers warranty requires $9.50 to be sent with bag.. but no address given!

We got this for our 5th grader and she loves it! It makes an awesome replacement for the backpack method - distribution of weight is absolutely great for their small backs.
